Caribbean coastal housing development

International Development

Global Housing Challenges. Scalable Local Solutions.

Across the Caribbean, the Americas, and other international markets, AHSG is developing a global platform to help build housing capacity within the countries and communities we serve.

Our Global Mission

More Than Exporting Homes.

Housing affordability and availability are global challenges. Across the Caribbean, the Americas, and other international markets, growing populations, aging housing stock, natural disasters, infrastructure limitations, and rising construction costs are creating an urgent need for new approaches to housing development.

Affordable Housing Solutions Group is developing a global platform designed to bring together housing, manufacturing, advanced construction technology, investment, and local partnerships to help address these challenges.

Our objective is not simply to export homes. Our objective is to help build housing capacity within the countries and communities we serve.

International housing community development

International Housing Development

From Individual Communities to Large-Scale Initiatives.

AHSG is pursuing opportunities ranging from individual residential communities to major housing initiatives involving hundreds or potentially thousands of homes. Every international project begins with understanding the individual country, community, housing requirement, infrastructure, climate, culture, and economic environment.

The Caribbean Opportunity

A Region With Urgent Housing Need.

The Caribbean represents an important focus of AHSG's international development strategy. Across the region, many communities face a combination of housing shortages, high imported construction costs, aging housing stock, infrastructure challenges, hurricane exposure, and limited local production capacity.

AHSG is pursuing opportunities throughout the Caribbean to develop scalable housing and manufacturing solutions in collaboration with local stakeholders. Each country requires its own development, regulatory, financial, and partnership strategy.

Central & South America

Expanding Across the Americas.

AHSG's international vision extends throughout the Americas. Rapid urbanization and significant housing demand create opportunities for new communities, workforce housing, affordable homeownership, manufacturing, and infrastructure investment.

We are interested in exploring appropriate opportunities throughout Central America, South America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and other markets where AHSG's integrated housing model can provide value.

The AHSG International Model

From Housing Projects to Economic Development.

Shipping finished homes from another country may make sense for certain projects. But for major housing programs, AHSG believes a more powerful long-term solution can be to establish local or regional production capacity. This approach can transform a housing project into a broader economic-development initiative.

Regional Manufacturing

Production Capacity Where It's Needed Most.

Where market demand supports it, AHSG can explore establishing manufacturing operations closer to the communities being developed. Regional manufacturing has the potential to support local employment, construction training, technology transfer, housing production, supplier development, reduced transportation requirements, regional distribution, and economic investment.

Facilities can potentially support both housing production and the manufacture of selected Sentry Shield Structural Technologies products, subject to applicable licensing, testing, approvals, and commercial agreements.

Housing Designed for the Environment

Every Market Is Different.

International housing cannot rely on a one-design-fits-everywhere philosophy. A home designed for Florida may not be appropriate for Jamaica, Guyana, Central America, or another international market.

AHSG evaluates climate, wind conditions, rainfall, humidity, coastal exposure, flood risk, topography, infrastructure, local architecture, available utilities, transportation, building codes, and cultural preferences. Housing and structural systems are then developed around the requirements of the individual project.

Resilient hurricane-resistant construction

Resilience for Coastal & Island Communities

Many Caribbean and coastal communities face challenging environmental conditions. Through Sentry Shield Structural Technologies, AHSG is developing advanced construction materials and building systems focused on durability, environmental protection, building-envelope performance, moisture management, and resilient construction.

Disaster recovery and reconstruction housing

Disaster Recovery & Reconstruction

Rebuilding Faster. Building Better.

Natural disasters can destroy years of housing supply within hours. For island nations in particular, reconstruction can be complicated by limited manufacturing capacity, material availability, transportation, and skilled labor.

AHSG's manufacturing-driven approach can potentially support both immediate reconstruction and longer-term housing replacement. Where appropriate, regional production capacity could remain after the initial recovery effort — supporting future housing development and strengthening local construction capability.

From Housing to Complete Communities

Master-Planned Communities That Support Long-Term Growth.

Major international developments can extend beyond residential construction. Depending on location and project requirements, master-planned developments may incorporate residential neighborhoods, hotels and hospitality, retail, restaurants, commercial districts, healthcare, education, community facilities, parks and recreation, roads and infrastructure, renewable energy, water systems, and manufacturing and employment centers.

Government Partnerships

Working With National and Local Governments.

Large-scale housing initiatives often require close collaboration with national and local governments. AHSG welcomes discussions with national governments, housing ministries, housing authorities, municipal governments, economic-development agencies, investment-promotion agencies, disaster-management organizations, public land authorities, and infrastructure agencies.

Potential partnership structures may involve public land, private investment, housing development, manufacturing, workforce development, infrastructure, or other public-private arrangements.

Private Development Partnerships

Partnering With Developers, Investors, and Landowners.

Government is only one part of the international housing market. AHSG is also interested in working with landowners, real-estate developers, investors, family offices, private-equity groups, construction companies, hotel and resort developers, infrastructure organizations, financial institutions, community organizations, nonprofits, and international development organizations.

Partners with significant land holdings or identified housing opportunities are encouraged to contact AHSG.

Sophia's Place

A Relationship Rooted in Purpose.

AHSG has a meaningful relationship with Sophia's Place, a charitable organization committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families. This relationship reflects our belief that housing companies have a responsibility to contribute to the broader social ecosystem.

As AHSG grows internationally, we are committed to deepening our charitable relationships and expanding our contributions to organizations that address the root causes of housing instability, poverty, and community fragmentation.
